"This company does not deliver on promises. The people I've worked with are kind, but have not solved my electrical issues and have not followed through on services I've paid for. I initially chose to work with this company because they are close to me and were very responsive. However, I've had two technicians come out to work on my master bedroom light/ceiling fan with no long-term solution. The second technician came out and discovered that the first had glued the glass cover to the fan, meaning the glass would have to be broken in order to replace light bulbs. This technician told me that it would be best to replace the ceiling fan altogether, considering it had been giving me so many issues. I was told to make a deposit of $150 and that he could come back the next day to install the fan. When I contacted him again, there was no response. This was in October of 2022, and life events had gotten in the way of me tracking them down and trying to get this service completed. Since last week, my partner and I have been calling in attempt to get a technician out to install the new ceiling fan with the deposit we made in October. I did not want to use Maxx Electrical Services to do install this fan based on the inadequate work they'd done in my home previously, but I also did not want to lose $150 altogether. They've told us they'd call us back, and never did. Today, we attempted to simply receive a refund for this service they did not provide, were transferred to a "finance department" for several minutes on hold to be told we should receive a call back again. I'm asking for anyone from the company reading this to please do the right thing, call back, and refund the money for this service you did not provide."
