"We recently completed a full landscape renovation with CB Conlin, and the entire experience exceeded our expectations from start to finish. Scott led the design phase and was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful throughout the process. He guided us through some complex permitting challenges with thoughtful solutions and designed a landscape that made exceptional use of our limited space while perfectly aligning with how we wanted to live in and enjoy our outdoor areas. The scope of the project was extensive. In the backyard, CB Conlin installed beautiful new hardscape, including an outdoor kitchen and TV wall, replaced a stoop, added a paved walkway to the side yard, and planted flowers in new beds bordering the entire space. In the front yard, they transformed a difficult steep area near the street into a stunning plantscape, installed planters along the front, completely repaved the stoop with masonry veneer, replaced the walkway to the driveway with under-paver heating, installed new turf, and seamlessly integrated everything with a new irrigation system. Tristan, our construction supervisor, was outstanding and served as our primary day-to-day contact. He was knowledgeable, courteous, and highly proactive — managing crews and subcontractors with impressive attention to detail. On multiple occasions he identified and corrected issues before we even noticed them. For example, when conduit was installed in the wrong location within the kitchen slab, Tristan coordinated a fix quickly and with minimal disruption. The entire crew was hardworking, skilled, and clearly took pride in their craft. What impressed us most was how accommodating Scott and Tristan were to the many change orders we proposed — sometimes almost daily. They never seemed frustrated and consistently worked to incorporate our ideas while keeping the project on schedule. Communication throughout the project was excellent. Scott and Tristan stayed in constant contact, regularly checked in for feedback, and ensured we felt informed and involved every step of the way. The project was delivered on time, and the final result truly surpassed our expectations. We give our strongest recommendation to Scott, Tristan, and the entire team at CB Conlin.
