"Please save yourself the time and money and do not hire this company. He stole over $300 from me to install an AC unit that he never installed. Similarly to other negative reviews, he was initially very helpful and came and serviced our AC for a cheap price, and even offered to take the price of the service off of a new unit if the fix didn't help. It didn't help so I contacted him to install a new unit. I paid a deposit up front and waited for him to contact me when the unit was ready. Over the next two weeks I dealt with almost daily no-call/no-shows, excuses, and lies. Our scheduled times would come and go with no contact from him until I'd reach out, then he'd have some excuse to reschedule for another day. Stephen must have some of the worst luck in the world, as he had his truck break down for 3 days then got into a car accident that gave him a concussion just a few days later! I might've believed all of this if he had been more communicative and reached out proactively, but after the lack of professionalism he's shown and reading through similar stories in the reviews, it all just sounds made up. Eventually my patience ran out and I demanded my money back, to which he responded with yet another excuse. No offer of a refund, no offer of a concrete time to come complete the work, nothing. When I insisted on a refund he stopped answering and I have not heard from him since. If you only need him for a single service, you might have a good experience - which explains the good rating on Google. But if you need something more, he'll run off with your money after you pay him up front. For a company located at a church that has 'Faith' in the name, it doesn't seem like he acts very Christ-like."

"Have worked with Stephen for about 6 years, starting with an install of a full new HVAC system. Overall have been very happy with his work quality and technical knowledge. That said, scheduling with him over the years has always been a challenge – seems there is always a delay, missed/constantly reschedule appointments etc. This caused tension with my tenants at time as well. Stephen has provided discounts for this at time, but I would’ve rather just had him follow through. However, I am currently dealing with being completely non-responsive in the last couple weeks after being paid a deposit. I paid the deposit on the premise of a specific date that I had told him. It has now been delayed several times and Stephen has completely stopped engaging me. One of his phone numbers has now become inactive when I try to call. Below is a timeline of my communication and what was scheduled from Stephen: 10/2 – Stephen reached out to me (proactively) to schedule seasonal maintenance. 10/17 – Stephen scheduled appointment for 10/21 10/21 – no show, no call. 10/25, finally responded with a picture of a cracked phone saying that was why he went 4 days and didn’t respond. However, texts still went through in that timeframe so I am skeptical 10/31 – showed up late in the day, but the appointment was kept and service performed. Stephen to return for other service items requested 11/2 – Stephen sent pricing and received deposit for work to be performed on 11/4 (two days from then) 11/4 – at 11AM finally heard from Stephen saying reschedule for tomorrow (I had asked for ETA night before). Requested and was given additional deposit on the premise of being done in 2 days 11/6 – at 1PM got a text saying his customer “lied” to him about the amount of time project would take and he wouldn’t be able to get to me today. Agreed to reschedule for 11/7 11/7 – text first thing saying we need to reschedule “Today sucks for me.” Confirmed first thing 11/10 11/10 – asked to reschedule due to no heat calls. I had specifically asked him to get my work done prior to the known incoming cold wave to avoid this exact situation. Based on his text, he was unaware of this incoming weather. Reschedule for 11/12. “I can 100% Wednesday get this well taken care of” 11/12 – no call, no show. I sent multiple texts to his multiple numbers 11/14 – said he was in Northern Michigan with “absolutely horrendous cell phone reception.” However, all texts were going through so this is not true. Said he’d call me 11/15 11/15 – promised call did not come 11/17 – promised to call me but didn’t 11/18 – responded saying he would get me in his schedule and proposed a Sunday and a Monday of holiday week that wouldn’t work. Refused to return deposit after being multiple weeks late on showing up. 11/19 – responded unable to come due to a family emergency. Again refused to refund money despite no work being done. Said he could do 11/21. I clarified my expectations on timing and did not hear back. Since 11/19 I have tried countless calls and texts to his multiple numbers and still have no response from him. At this point, hoping he can do the right thing and either show up to do the work or send the money back. He does good work, but this amount of cancellation is extremely unprofessional – however this seems to be how he operates his business with no interest in changing. He has been promising me other paperwork since the spring that I have not received either."

"We placed a call on a Saturday night and we had a technician come in a very timely manner. He was thorough in his assessment and very quickly was able to fix our unit. The pricing was incredibly fair. We plan to schedule yearly maintenance moving forward and will absolutely use this company when we eventually replace our AC unit."
