"My experience with Godby was very good! I got to them through YELP. I put in a request for electrical help and it was sent out to multiple companies. Godby was one of the companies that responded quickly and had someone who could come today!! They have good communication. They were upfront about the cost and what it applied to. My technician arrived within the time frame I was given from the main office. Tino was polite, patient, offered to wear shoe covers, was efficient and checked my breakers. He took care with safety and gave excellent customer service. I got 5 star service on a small job."
"Our 35 yr old furnace unfortunately went down but exceeded it's suspected life by many yrs. Godby came over to inspect but determined the existing unit might not be safe. New furnace was ordered & installed within 17hrs. Repairmen & sales all were exceptionally nice people. The only bad vibe was the financing. If I went less payments the interest rate was 18%!! Going long payments the interest was 9%. We chose the latter. Good experience overall in a bad situation. Godby was quick, & thorough knowing we were in an emergency situation in a cold house. I would choose Godby again but have my own financing next time not theirs."
"They replaced my heat pump on Friday afternoon, it quit working that evening. They DO NOT have 24 hour service, they use an answering service in northern Illinois after hours. Best the answering service could do was send an email that someone might see on Monday morning. No assistance at all and no heat during the middle of winter."
