"We are a nonprofit church organization in Tennessee, and on Saturday, 12/6, we had a major event when our HVAC system stopped working. We contacted Lee Company for emergency service, expecting experienced and professional support. Unfortunately, our experience was extremely disappointing. The technician who came out was not knowledgeable and took nearly five hours to troubleshoot just two units. On one split-system unit, he did not properly discharge the capacitor before handling it, which caused sparking — a serious safety concern and highly unprofessional. On the second unit, he was unable to repair the issue at all, and we had to schedule another technician during the weekday to complete the repair. While we agreed to pay the second invoice (LEE-001594924) for the completed repair, we disputed the first invoice (LEE-001583209) due to the lack of resolution, excessive troubleshooting time, and unsafe handling. When we contacted Lee Company to explain the situation, instead of listening or offering to escalate the matter, we were told the invoice would be turned over to their legal team for collection. We were also informed that no manager would be allowed to call us back. The representative ended the call without attempting to resolve the issue. For a company with their reputation, this level of service and customer support is unacceptable — especially when dealing with a nonprofit church organization trying to host a community event. We are still requesting that someone from the leadership team contact us to review this matter fairly and professionally."
