"Alright, I’m not a paid shill, but I am a No Drip Club member at two locations. My experience with J. Blanton over the past 2 years has been overwhelmingly positive, with all of their appraisers, technicians, and office staff knowledgeable, professional and polite. Today’s experience with Carlos, Edward and Gerardo was no different. With the temperatures plunging to -11, we thought we had taken all,of the appropriate precautions in our new home, having moved here just three months ago. However, poorly insulated interior plumbing finally succumbed to the vagaries of climate change. Fortunately, my wife was able to quickly turn off the main water valve; had she not been at home, we would have had a total disaster. J. Blanton responded quickly to my weekend call, and Carlos arrived within 3 hours; a faithful adherent to a tradition of competent and driven Chicago craftsmen, he was able to provide a likely scenario. Edward and Gerardo arrived a few hours later to begin what could have been a major demolition. Fortunately, Edward quickly found the source of the leak, and repaired it. Expensive, yes, but much better than waiting a week (or more) and having our home unlivable. Home ownership is a costly endeavor — finding good craftsmen who know their business, provide timely service, and deserve our respect is a happy ending to this encounter."
"Bryan came out to assess the situation with my water softener. After many questions and much discussion of the options we came to a solution I was happy with. Michael came the next day to install my new softener, new hot water heater and replace some old piping. He was able to get the new equipment down a difficult set of stairs down to my basement. The installations took less time than expected. He left the area in the basement and the set up area in the driveway clean. Both Bryan and Michael were friendly and knowledgeable. It was a pleasure having them in my home. My only complaint through this whole process is that when I called and when someone from the company called me I was having trouble understanding the people on the phone."
"Had Anthony over for a water heater replacement. These guys are great. Fair pricing, workmanship is outstanding. Super clean install and we’re honest about the options and pricing for the new water heater. Got a next day install appointment and this issue is solved. My go to guys. I have an old house and installations are a pain most of the time. No sweat this time around."
