"Third plumber we called for a difficult job. First one to come up with a plan that didnt involve completely redoing the plumbing system and basically installing all new for thousands of dollars (although one option he proposed was to do something like that). Best way to describe how he worked is that he treated our house and our issues as if they were his own and didnt force us into a decision or leave us confused. Even during the project, we hit some bad news (where more cast iron was hidden - 2nd picture of outside trench is where he felt there might be more buildup. So he cut a hole and sure enough, there was more cast iron AFTER the PVC pipe section that previous owner put in), and he was too generous with trying to help us fix the problem. Not lazy, not taking shortcuts, it was important for him to show us the codes for different work options, which gave us piece of mind. He even provided warranties for his work, which was nice for someone that more or less works as a handy man."
