"The change in ownership is a big loss for the customer. We had used the company over the past 3-4 years when we had minor leaks or missing shingles and were pleased. Each repair was affordable and took care of the problem. When I called this time after the Fern ice storm, they said they bought out the prior owner and they follow the same protocols as the last owner and similar pricing, so Iet them come out and inspect the roof and give us a price. They did inspect the roof but they refused to send me the quote with findings via email. They said they have to meet with me to explain what is wrong with my roof. I was not happy about that. I knew the sales pitch was coming and it did. They brought a computer and a PowerPoint. They wanted to come in my home to share this PPT. I was not comfortable inviting him in and he showed me the entire PPT outside. His pricing was 10X the prior owner. I know the repair was likely different, but it was still minor. He talked about sealing the fasteners which is basically caulking the nails along with replacing 2 missing shingles, and a few other things. He said the prior roofers left creasing when they replaced the shingles and must have been in a hurry. I told him that was YOUR company. He didn't know what to say to that and definitely did not stand by the work they did that he thought was careless. He also showed me one PPT slide that implied that most homeowners are displeased with home repairs because they went with the lowest quote and Yes he did ask during the PPT if I was going to say yes to his proposal based on what I know so far. It was so vacuum cleaner sales tactics from the old days. I guess that matches up well with their outdated name."
"I had complete gutter replacement done to my home. And I had the 6-in gutters installed that were offered by Mr good roof and I'm really glad that this option was available. Landon and Emmanuel showed up on time and performed an excellent installation. Very thorough, and work together as a team. I also had some minor roof repairs done caused by a falling tree on the corner of the house. Cody and his helper performed an excellent job on that section of the roof as well. I highly recommend Mr good roof for anyone looking for top-notch quality work for a reasonable price."
