"After the most recent storm, in which my power was out for two weeks, I received my electric bill and it was the exact same as the previous month! They tried to claim that we are now in there “peak energy consumption month” and that this was due to reheating the home, and refrigerator. However, my refrigerator was fully powered by my back up generator, and I have mini splits that only put out 20% at all times, not impacted my temperature change. NES is using the monopoly they hold over electricity in Nashville to scam their customers ! There lack of accountability, and horrible infrastructure needs to be corrected! This is absolutely ridiculous!"
"I once again have the displeasure of having to deal with NES. After three years living in Dickson, I’m trying to set up new service in Nashville again. The automated system bounces you around, not accepting very clear commands. I’ve been on hold for 47 minutes now and when I do get someone, they’re rude and just transfer me to someone else after another long hold. I was hoping that my memories of dealing with NES were overblown, but nope. They’ve only gotten worse. I wish there were other options for electric service. NES is terrible at every single facet of their business."
"Customer service rep always has a foul attitude whenever I call. My bill was $300+ than my last bill and I called to ask about what could be causing that. Right off the bat, she said that they don’t work like that and couldn’t give me an explanation. For someone dealing with my power AND my money, I would at least expect some type of answer or at least not immediately be given an attitude."
